Modern Ballet Dancers

Our Story

The Academy opened in 1994 with just a handful of students across two classes, in a church hall.

Today the Academy is one of the largest Theatre dance schools in the IDTA with dedicated studios providing dozens of classes to hundreds of pupils throughout the week.

The founder, Amanda Restell, is now joined by a dedicated group of highly qualified teachers in  wide range of subjects. These include Ballet, Tap, Musical Theatre, Modern Jazz, Street, Singing and Acro.

Regardless of the Academy's size or facilities, its ethos has remained the same - every student gets training appropriate to their needs. Dance is for everyone, whether its for fun or for a career. In addition to the highest quality tuition, the pupils benefit from life skills, friendships and discipline dancing can bring.
